NC Expansion Announced

New plasma cutting capabilities lead the way for recently-announced plant expansion in Mount Airy, NC

July 3, 2013

"On behalf of my family and our 300 associates, we would like to thank the people of Mount Airy and the NC Department of Commerce for being great partners as we continue to grow good-paying jobs and prepare our plant for new customers and expanded business" -Michael Ottenweller, President.

Highlights include:

Creation of 20 new jobs

Investment of over $1.5 million

Salaries will vary by job function, but the average annual wages for the new jobs will be on par with (and slightly over) the Surry County average

Addition of Alltra dual-head plasma table (see pictures below)
